  • One of the most important decisions you will make when considering psychotherapy is who you choose as your therapist. Can you be your authentic self with them? Are they nonjudgmental, open, and curious about you? Can they appreciate you, your world, and your relationships? Do they understand you in context? Can they help you? Are they good at what they do?

My supervisors and mentors have included some of the world’s leading researchers and practitioners in individual therapy, intimate relationships, trauma-focused therapy, LGBTQIA+ mental health and stigma, kink-affirming therapy, CNM and non-traditional relationships, and sex therapy:

    • Dr. K. Daniel O’Leary
    • Dr. John Pachankis
    • Dr. Nicholas Eaton
    • Dr. Elizabeth Wrape
    • Dr. Leslie Morland
    • Dr. Caroline Shahbaz
    • Dr. Tammy Nelson

Many of my clients are high-achieving, bi-coastal creatives and professionals. I work with talent in entertainment, music, art, philosophy, writing, medicine, tech, law, and psychology. I help clients address challenges in juggling their well-being with their expectations, roles at home/work, responsibilities, deadlines, relationships, creative flow, and past experiences. Part of succeeding in this balance is finding the right collaborator.

  • I see myself as an intuitive, creative, informed, and highly trained Clinical Psychologist that provides a safe, non-judgmental, and transformative environment.

No matter who you are, what you do, or where you come from, I believe that therapy is its own creative endeavor in discovering and achieving this balance with authenticity.

Therapy with me fosters a deep sense of engagement and connection, of feeling understood, and of clarity where there was previously ambiguity.

This work is active, penetrating, and engaging. Together, we will create a climate of discovery where you will feel heard, while also experiencing my active participation and direction. I ask questions, provide feedback, highlight, guide, and help you identify and change the perspectives that get in your way when it comes to living your life according to your own values.

I have a strong respect for both the journey and the destination. I place high value on the therapeutic relationship and the investment of time, energy, respect, and openness it takes to build a safe and transformative environment. We will work collaboratively and creatively to tailor treatment to meet your unique needs, and utilize interventions shown to be effective through scientific research.

Am I the therapist to help you grow, explore, and support your well-being?
